The “Colorado” pattern made by the U.S. Glass Co, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; this pattern is one of the “States Series”, circa 1897. Originally produced only in blue and called “Dewey Blue” but also appears in clear (ruby stained), green (copper wheel engraved), black and vaseline but any other color is considered rare.

Photograph created by Society member Modene Murphy and along with Glenn they have developed an extensive on-line pattern identification service.
